Eyes in Flight — Birds of Prey Photography Workshop
An exclusive partnership between Tapada Nacional de Mafra, Falcões no Oeste, and photographer Jorge Bodroghy Leite. A unique experience that could only take place in the magical and preserved setting of the Tapada, offering an exceptional opportunity to capture in detail the majestic flights and expressive gazes of birds of prey.
This experience has been designed to develop your photographic eye and deepen the connection between technique, artistic sensitivity, and respect for nature.
Participation Requirements
- Equipment: Digital camera, smartphone, or tablet.
- Technical knowledge: Basic understanding of photography theory.
- Mandatory requirement: Each participant must have a thorough understanding of the features and capabilities of the equipment they will be using.
Workshop Contents
- The myth of the “good” photograph;
- Basic principles of composition and framing;
- Essential exposure concepts (aperture, shutter speed, and ISO);
- Shooting modes: Automatic, Semi-Automatic, and Manual;
- Focal length and zoom usage;
- Photography as an art form: subject (vocabulary), composition (grammar), and intention (message).
Important Information
- Minimum number of participants: The workshop is subject to a minimum of 6 participants.
- Cancellation policy: If the minimum number of participants is not reached, TNM reserves the right to cancel the experience up to 48 hours before the scheduled date, guaranteeing a full refund of the ticket price.
